How safe is your building? Have you taken every precaution to assure your tenants that their safety is the highest priority?  Do you have a redundant sprinkler system throughout the building?  Are there designated refugee areas? Are the hallways and stairwells illuminated with florescent strips? Is there a helicopter pad on the roof for emergency evacuations? Do you have a security company checking for explosives in the lobby and parking garage beneath the building? These are just a few of the questions that will determine the rating of a particular skyscraper. Our goal is to certify skyscrapers that meet or exceed the highest standards of public safety, and to bring to the world’s attention those that don’t.
