According to the NIST and 9/11 Commission Report, the towers collapsed because of the ensuing fires. But yet, within the first four minutes after the initial attack, the commanders decided they weren’t going to make any effort to extinguish the fires, basically saying…let it burn!

That is not acceptable. What if that was you or one of your loved ones trapped in the building? Would you want the fire commanders to walk away and say…I’m sorry, there is nothing we can do?

It’s time we face the facts. There is going to be another attack.  The question is…what are we going to do about it? Our goal is create an elite team of fire fighters that are specifically trained and equipped for worst case scenarios in each major city on the planet with a motto…NEVER AGAIN!

No doubt about it, rescuing people in the upper floors of a towering inferno is not the same as rescuing a family that is trapped on the 7th floor of residential building. No longer can you charge up the stairs of 110 story building with the belief you are going to make a difference. Most of those people will be dead by the time you reach them. It’s time to change the way we conduct our training.
